In 2020, I was recognized as one of Destinations International’s 30 Under 30 for future industry leaders. I wrote about my experience in the program for their blog and was selected to serve on the 2022 30 Under 30 Alumni Council.

Other Highlights

  • I help organize a network of over 230 creators to write blogs, film videos, and take photos to help us tell Detroit's story, increasing our web and social media engagement, and putting over $67,000 back into the Detroit creative community since January 2023 and helped us to reach over 4.2 million pageviews in 2023.

  • In 2021 the Livingston County Convention & Visitors Bureau rebranded as Explore Brighton Howell Area. Alongside an incredible group of seasoned professionals, I got experience in destination research, design strategies, and brand launch best practices. Learn about the new brand here.

  • When I started with the LCCVB in 2018, the website was less than a dozen pages and in desperate need of a facelift. I worked with a developer, becoming a WordPress wizard along the way, to create a new site with a unique page for every tourism partner in Livingston County. In its first year, the new site averaged 5,000+ monthly visits and saw triple the amount of traffic from 2018.

  • In 2021 I was in charge of the Michigan Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus annual conference silent auction. With donations like hotel stays, attraction tickets, gift baskets, and advertising bundles, we raised a record $26,000.
